Cases where the stimulus was on for 200 ms

Here we show some examples where the stimulus was on for 200 ms and off for 300 ms (in contrast to the bulk of the data where the stimulus was on for 100 ms and off for 100 ms).

1. CKARA07 (only MUA data)

MUA

Note the clear onset of the spiking response before stimulus offset (e.g increase in spike rate for image of an orange (stimulus=16))

2. CKBUA13

MUALFP

Note that there seems to be changes in the LFP response before stimulus offset (e.g. stimulus 28 (monkey face) or stimulus 73 (dog image)).

3. CKBXA13

MUALFP

Note that the spike rate changes well before stimulus offset (e.g. image of a hand, stimulus 33). The LFP response also starts to change well before stimulus offset (e.g. image of a hand, stimulus 33 or image of a dog, stimulus 71).

4. CKCAA03

MUALFP

Note the increase in spike rate (e.g. for the two images of tanks, stimuli 45 and 46) well before stimulus offset. Note also the change in the LFP signal (e.g. for stimuli 19 and 50) before stimulus offset.

5. CKFQA12

MUALFP

Note the LFP changes (e.g. for several of the cat/dog stimuli, pictures 69 through 74) before stimulus offset

6. CKFRA04

MUALFP

Changes in spike rate (e.g. picture number 10) start before stimulus offset; changes in the LFP signal (e.g. picture 72 (dog) also occurs before stimulus offset.

7. CKFSA07

MUALFP

Note the changes in the LFP signal (e..g pictures 69 and 70 of cat/dog stimuli) well before stimulus offset.

8. CKFTA04

MUALFP

Although the background spike rate is very high, changes in spike rate upon stimulus presentation and before stimulus offset can be seen (e..g picture 41 (monkey face)). The changes in the LFP signal (e.g. picture 28-30 and pictures 69-74) also occur before stimulus offset.

9. CKFUA04

MUALFP

Note the striking decrease in the spike rate after presentation of pictures 34 and 35 (hands and to a slighly lesser degree picture 9) which starts slightly before stimulus offset.

10. CKFVA04

MUALFP

Changes in spike rate (e.g. for pictures 21 and 16) occur before stimulus offset.

11. CNBDA06
MUA LFP

Note the changes in spike rate (e.g. stimulus 58, stimulus 76 and stimulus 2) occurring before stimulus offset.
