Comparison of SUA and MUA

Comparison of SUA and MUA responses. The table below shows the correlation coefficient (Pearson or Spearman) for the spike counts in the 100 to 300 ms interval (stimulus interval) or the -100 to 0 ms interval (background interval). Correlation coefficients were computed between the responses to 77 pictures (i.e. excluding the blank image).

mua stim odd vs even: MUA, stimulus interval, odd versus even trials (5 values, not corrected to 10 trials)
mua bckg odd vs even: MUA, background interval, odd versus even trials (5 values, not corrected to 10 trials)
sua stim odd vs even: SUA, stimulus interval, odd versus even trials (5 values, not corrected to 10 trials)
sua bckg odd vs even: SUA, background interval, odd versus even trials (5 values, not corrected to 10 trials)
mua vs sua stim: MUA versus SUA, stimulus interval (10 values)
mua vs sua bckg: MUA versus SUA, background interval (10 values)
