Selectivity of MUA responses

To assess whether a site was selective, we compared the variability in the response across different pictures to the variability in the response within different repetitions of the same picture using a 1-way ANOVA analysis. For the purpose of the results in this page, response was defined as the spike count either in the [100;300) ms interval (stimulus interval) or in the [-200;0) ms interval (background interval). A post-hoc analysis of contrasts was performed by comparing the response to each picture to the overall distribution of responses.

n stim = number of pictures that passed the post-hoc analysis
