Classification performance as a function of the number of sites

Read-out performance for categorization (A) and idenitification (B) as a function of the number of sites used as input to the classifier. The dashed lines indicate change performance (1/8 in A and 1/77 in B).
MUA = multi-unit spiking activity
LFP = local field potentials (total power in the [1;300) Hz of the raw signal)
SUA = single unit activity (after spike sorting of the MUA)
MUALFP = concatenation of MUA and LFP activity
cMUA = MUA after spike sorting
Classifier parameters: Time interval = 100 to 300 ms, Bin size = 50 ms.
